Description

Laredo Petroleum operates as an independent energy company. The Company focused on the exploration, development and acquisition of oil and natural gas properties primarily in the Permian region of the United States. Permian Basin: The Permian Basin, located in west Texas and southeastern New Mexico, is the prolific onshore oil and natural gas producing regions in the United States. Its Permian activities are centered on the eastern side of the basin and extend in Glasscock, Howard, Reagan, Sterling and Tom Green counties, and referred to as the Permian-Garden City area. New Ventures: The Company, in addition to its Permian Basin, it continues to evaluate opportunities in other areas within its core operating regions. New Ventures include the Dalhart Basin and other areas.
