MFS Intermediate Income Trust (the Fund) is a closed-end fund management investment company. The Fund�s investment objective is to seek high current income. The Fund maintains a portfolio that includes investments in short and intermediate-term United States Government, and foreign sovereign and high-grade securities. The Fund invests all of its assets in investment-grade debt instruments. The Fund may also use derivatives. The Fund may invest its assets in the United States and foreign securities, including securities of emerging market issuers. The Fund's investment advisor is Massachusetts Financial Services Company (MFS).
