In July 2011, 3M (Industrial and Transportation Business) acquired Advanced Chemistry & Technology Inc. In October 2011, 3M (Consumer and Office Business) acquired the do-it-yourself and professional business of GPI Group. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company acquired Winterthur Technologie AG. In April 2012, it acquired CodeRyte Inc.
