The McClatchy Company (McClatchy) is a local media company. The Company that provides both print and digital news and advertising services in the markets it serves. The Company�s newspapers range from large dailies serving metropolitan areas to non-daily newspapers serving small communities. The Company also operates local Websites in each of its markets that complement its newspapers and extend its audience reach. The Company�s owned newspapers include, among others, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Sacramento Bee, The Kansas City Star, The Miami Herald, The Charlotte Observer, and The (Raleigh) News & Observer. In September 2012, Gannett Co Inc's, Tribune Company's and McClatchy's CareerBuilder acquired Economic Modeling Specialists Intl.
