Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. (Navios Holdings) is a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company which operates numerous businesses focused on the transport and transshipment of drybulk commodities including iron ore, coal and grain. The Company operates in two segments: Drybulk Vessel Operations and Logistics Business. The Drybulk Vessel Operations business consists of the transportation and handling of bulk cargoes through the ownership, operation, and trading of vessels, freight, and forward freight agreements (FFAs). The Logistics Business segment consists of its port terminal business, barge business and cabotage business in the Hidrovia region of South America. On March 26, 2012, Navios Holdings took delivery of the Navios Serenity. On March 30, 2012, Navios Holdings took delivery of the Navios Centaurus. On May 14, 2012, Navios Holdings took delivery of the Navios Avior, which is a 81,355 deadweight tons bulk carrier vessel.
