Description

Oceaneering International, Inc. is a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deepwater applications. Through the use of its applied technology, Oceaneering also serves the defense and aerospace industries. The Company is an underwater services contractors. The services and products it provide to the oil and gas industry include remotely operated vehicles, built-to-order specialty subsea hardware, engineering and project management, subsea intervention services, including manned diving, and asset integrity and nondestructive testing services. Its business segments are contained within two businesses: services and products provided to the oil and gas industry (Oil and Gas) and all other services and products (Advanced Technologies). On March 31, 2011, it purchased Norse Cutting and Abandonment AS (NCA). On December 27, 2011, it purchased Mechanica AS.
