Description

Orbital Sciences Corporation develops and manufactures small- and medium-class rockets and space systems for commercial, military and civil government customers, including the United States Department of Defense (DoD), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and other United States Government agencies. The Company�s products and services are grouped in three segments: Launch Vehicles, Satellites and Space Systems, and Advanced Space Programs. Launch Vehicles include rockets that are used as small- and medium-class space launch vehicles that place satellites into Earth orbit and escape trajectories, interceptor and target vehicles. Satellites and Space Systems includes small- and medium-class satellites that are used to enable global and regional communications and broadcasting. Advanced Space Programs includes human-rated space systems for Earth-orbit and deep-space exploration.
