Description

The Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack is offering automotive service, tires, parts and accessories. The Company�s majority of its stores are in a Supercenter format (averaging 20,600 square feet), which serves both do-it-for-me (DIFM), which includes service labor, installed merchandise and tires and do-it-yourself (DIY), customers with the service and merchandise offering. It operates in six segments: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Central, West and Southern CA. Its Supercenters have a commercial sales program that provides delivery of tires, parts and other products to automotive repair shops and dealers. In May 2011, the Company acquired Big 10 Tires and Automotive, which is an automotive service provider. In June 2011, it acquired seven Houston area service and tire locations. During fiscal 2011, it acquired 99 Service & Tire Centers and opened 21 new stores.
