PAA Natural Gas Storage, L.P. (PNG) is a limited partnership engaged in the business of acquisition, development, ownership, operation and commercial management of natural gas storage facilities. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned and operated three natural gas storage facilities located in Louisiana, Mississippi and Michigan. It also leases storage capacity and pipeline transportation capacity from third parties. The Company provides natural gas storage services to customers, including local gas distribution companies (LDCs), electric utilities, pipelines, direct industrial users, electric power generators, marketers, producers, liquefied natural gas (LNG) importers and affiliates of such entities. As of December 31, 2011, it owned a 100% interest in three natural gas storage facilities. The Company operates in three segments: Bluewater, Southern Pines and Pine Prairie. On February 9, 2011, it completed the acquisition of SG Resources Mississippi, L.L.C.
