Proto Labs, Inc. manufactures computer numerical control machined and plastic injection molded parts. The Company offers plastic injection molded parts, rapid tooling, plastic injection molding, rapid injection molding, rapid prototyping and prototype. It offers its services to product developers who use 3D CAD software to design products across a range of end-markets. The Company provides Firstcut service, which uses commercially-available CNC machines to cut blocks of material into one or more custom parts based on the three-dimensional computer-aided design (3D CAD) model uploaded by the product developer.
