Description

Regal Beloit Corporation is a global manufacturer of electric motors and controls, electric generators and controls, and mechanical motion control products. The Company operates in two segments: Electrical and Mechanical. Its electrical products include motors used in commercial and residential heating ventilation air conditioning ( HVAC) applications. Its mechanical products include primarily gears and gearboxes, marine transmissions, automotive transmissions, manual valve actuators, and electrical connectivity devices. On August 22, 2011, Regal Beloit Corporation acquired Electrical Products Company (EPC) of A.O. Smith Corporation.On June 1, 2011, the Company acquired Australian Fan and Motor Company. On April 5, 2011, it acquired Ramu, Inc. On February 3, 2012 2012, the Company acquired the Company acquired Milwaukee Gear Company.
