Description

Regal Entertainment Group (Regal) is the parent company of Regal Entertainment Holdings, Inc. (REH). The Company is engaged in the theatre exhibition operations. As of December 29, 2011, Regal operated the theatre circuit in the United States, which consisted of 6,614 screens in 527 theatres in 37 states and the District of Columbia. During the fiscal year ended December 29, 2011 (fiscal 2011), the Company had over 211 million attendees. The Company operates multi-screen theatres and has an average of 12.6 screens per location. The Company develops, acquires and operates multi-screen theatres primarily in mid-sized metropolitan markets and suburban areas of metropolitan markets throughout the United States. In April 2013, it completed the acquisition of Hollywood Theaters.
