Red Lion Hotels Corporation (RLH), is engaged in the ownership, operation and franchising of midscale, full, select and limited service hotels under its Red Lion brand. The Red Lion brand is associated with three star full and select service hotels. The Company operates in three segments: hotels, franchise and entertainment segment. As of December 31, 2011, the Company�s system of hotels was contained of 48 hotels located in nine states and one Canadian province, with 9,010 rooms and 452,387 square feet of meeting space. On June 14, 2011, the Company completed a sale of its Red Lion Hotel on Fifth Avenue in Seattle, Washington. In September 2012, it sold the Red Lion Hotel Sacramento at Arden Village. In October 2012, the Company sold the Red Lion Hotel Denver Southeast in Colorado. In February 2013, the Company announced the sale of Red Lion Inn Missoula in Montana.
