Rentech Nitrogen Partners, L.P. (RNP) is a master limited partnership that owns and operates its fertilizer business. The Company operates through two business segments: East Dubuque and Pasadena. The Company's East Dubuque segment includes the operations of the East Dubuque Facility, which produces ammonia, ammonium nitrate solution (UAN), liquid and granular urea, nitric acid and food-grade carbon dioxide (CO2), using natural gas as its primary feedstock. The East Dubuque Facility is located in the center of the Mid Corn Belt, which includes the States of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Ohio. The Company's Pasadena segment includes the operations of the Pasadena Facility, which produces synthetic ammonium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, sulfuric acid and ammonium thiosulfate, using ammonia and sulfur as the facility's primary feedstock. The Pasadena Facility is located on an 85-acre site located on the Houston Ship Channel.
