Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust is a self-administered real estate investment trust (REIT), engaged in the business of owning, developing, acquiring, managing and leasing community shopping centers, regional malls and single tenant retail properties. At December 31, 2008, the Compay owned interests in 89 shopping centers, comprised of 65 community centers, 21 power centers, two single tenant retail properties, and one enclosed regional mall, totaling approximately 20.0 million square feet of gross leaseable area (GLA). The Company and its joint ventures partners own approximately 15.9 million square feet of such GLA, with the remaining portion owned by various anchor stores.
