Description

Service Corporation International is a provider of death care products and services, with a network of funeral service locations and cemeteries primarily operating in the United States and Canada. The Company�s operations consist of funeral service locations, cemeteries, funeral service/cemetery combination locations, crematoria, and related businesses. As of December 31, 2013, the Company operated approximately 1,644 funeral service locations and 514 cemeteries (including 283 funeral service/cemetery combination locations) in North America, which are geographically diversified across 43 states, eight Canadian provinces, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The Company acquired Stewart Enterprises in December 2013 for expansion of its services in North America. Service Corp brands include: Dignity Memorial, Dignity Planning, National Cremation society, advantage, Funeraria Del Angel, Making Everlasting Memories, Memorial Plan and Neptune/Trident society.
