Sanchez Energy Corporation is an independent exploration and production company focused on the acquisition and development of unconventional oil resources in the onshore U.S. Gulf Coast. The Company operates in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas and the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale (TMS) in Mississippi and Louisiana. Eagle Ford Shale: The Company owns land majority of which are in southwest Fayette and northeast Lavaca Counties, Texas with working interest in the Marquis area. The Company’s primary focus areas in its Cotulla area are its Alexander Ranch and Wycross development projects.
