Description

SPX Corporation is a global, multi-industry manufacturer of specialized, engineered solutions with operations in over 35 countries and sales in over 150 countries globally. The Company operates in four segments: Flow Technology, Test and Measurement, Thermal Equipment and Services, and Industrial Products and Services. On December 22, 2011, the Company acquired Clyde Union (Holdings) S.A.R.L. (Clyde Union). On October 31, 2011, in its Flow Technology segment, the Company completed the acquisition of e&e Verfahrenstechnik GmbH (e&e). In March 2011, in its Flow Technology segment, the Company completed the acquisition of B.W. Murdoch Ltd. (Murdoch). In March 2011, in its Test and Measurement segment, the Company completed the acquisition of Teradyne Inc.'s Diagnostic Solutions business (DS). In March 2012, the Company announced that its Flow Technology segment acquired Seital S.r.l.
