Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., is a diversified company. The Company is a provider of power and hand tools, products and services for industrial applications, mechanical access solutions such as automatic doors and commercial locking systems, and electronic security and monitoring systems. The Company has three primary acquisition growth platforms: Security, Engineered Fastening, and Infrastructure. The Company’s operations are classified into three reportable business segments: Construction & Do-It-Yourself, consisting of Professional Power Tool business, Consumer Products Group including outdoor products, the Hand Tools & Storage business, and Fastening & Accessories business; Industrial, consisting of the Industrial and Automotive Repair, Engineered Fastening and Infrastructure businesses, and Security, comprised of the Convergent Security Solutions and Mechanical Access Solutions businesses.
