It operates through five segments: Domestic; Brazil; Argentina; Media, and Olivetti. The Domestic segment provides telephone and data services on fixed line and mobile networks for retail voice customers and wholesale operators. The Brazil segment operates through Tim Brasil group which offers mobile services using Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA). The Argentina segment provides international telephone long-distance service, data transmission and Information Technology (IT) solutions outsourcing. The Media segment operates in the Telecom Italia Media, MTV group and Network Operator business. The Olivetti segment comprises the sale of office equipment, including digital printing systems, among others.
