Description

Trinity Industries, Inc. (Trinity) is a multi-industry company, which owns a range of businesses, which provides products and services to the industrial, energy, transportation, and construction sectors. As a multi-industry company, it manufactures and sells a range of products through a range of product lines, including Railcars and railcar parts in addition to leasing railcars to its customers through its integrated business model, which includes a leasing business, Trinity Industries Leasing Company (TILC); Inland barges; Structural wind towers; Highway products; Concrete and aggregates; Tank containers, and Steel parts and components. It operates in five segments. In December 2012, the Company through a wholly owned subsidiary, it has acquired the assets of Armstrong Bros. Holding Co. In April 2013, it acquired the assets of Forjas Metalicas, S.A. de C.V.
