TETRA Technologies, Inc. operates in five segments. Fluids Division manufactures and markets clear brine fluids, additives, and other associated products and services to the oil and gas industry for use in well drilling, completion, and workover operations. The Offshore Division consists of two operating segments: the Offshore Services segment provides downhole and subsea oil and gas services, and the Maritech segment is an oil and gas exploration, development, and production operation focused in the offshore, inland waters, and onshore United States Gulf Coast region. The Production Enhancement Division consists of two operating segments: Production Testing and Compressco. In March 2012, its subsidiary, TETRA Investments Company U.K. Limited, acquired Optima Solutions Holdings Limited. In April 2012, it acquired Eastern Reservoir Services and flowback operations of Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. In July 2012, it acquired all of the assets and business of Greywolf Production Systems.
