Ternium S.A. is a steel producer in Latin America. The Company manufactures and processes a range of steel products, including galvanized and electro-galvanized sheets, pre-painted sheets, tinplate, welded pipes, hot-rolled flat products, cold-rolled products, bars and wire rods, as well as slitted and cut-to-length offerings through its service centers. It operates through two segments: Steel and Mining. The Steel segment includes the sales of steel products, which comprises slabs, hot rolled coils and sheets, cold rolled coils and sheets, tin plate, welded pipes, hot dipped galvanized and electro-galvanized sheets, pre-painted sheets, billets, wire rod and bars and other products to serve its customers. The Steel segment comprises three operating segments: Mexico, Southern Region and Other markets. The Mining segment includes the sales of mining products, mainly iron ore and pellets, and comprises the mining activities of Las Encinas, Pena Colorada, another iron ore mining company.
