Description
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (Vishay) is a global manufacturer and supplier of discrete semiconductors and passive components. Semiconductors include metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs), diodes, and optoelectronic components. Passive components include resistive products, capacitors, and inductors. The Company offers its customers one-stop shop access electronic component product lines of any manufacturer in the United States, Europe, and Asia. On September 28, 2011, the Company acquired the resistor businesses of Huntington Electric, Inc. On January 13, 2012, the Company acquired HiRel Systems LLC.
