Waste Connections, Inc. is an integrated municipal solid waste (MSW) services company. The Company provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in the United States. The Company is a provider of non-hazardous exploration and production (E&P), waste treatment, recovery and disposal services in various areas of the United States. It provides intermodal services for the rail haul movement of cargo and solid waste containers in the Pacific Northwest through a network of intermodal facilities. The Company has four segments: Western, Central, Eastern and E&P. It offers services under the arrangements, including governmental certificates, residential subscriptions, residential contracts, or commercial, industrial and E&P service agreements. It offers residential, commercial, industrial and municipal customers recycling services for a range of recyclable materials, including compost, cardboard, office paper, glass bottles, and ferrous and aluminum metals.
