Description

Waste Connections, Inc. (WCI) is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in the United States. The Company provides intermodal services for the rail haul movement of cargo and solid waste containers in the Pacific Northwest through a network of seven intermodal facilities. The Company also treats and disposes of non-hazardous waste that is generated in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas primarily at a facility in Southwest Louisiana. As of December 31, 2011, the Company served more than two million residential, commercial and industrial customers from a network of operations in 29 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
