The Williams Companies, Inc. is an energy infrastructure company focused on connecting North America’s significant hydrocarbon resource plays to growing markets for natural gas, NGLs, and olefins. The Company’s interstate gas pipelines, domestic midstream, and domestic olefins production interests are largely held through its investment in Williams Partners L.P. (WPZ). The Company activities in 2013 were operated through business segments: Williams Partners comprised of its master limited partnership WPZ, which includes gas pipeline and domestic midstream businesses; Williams NGL & Petchem Services comprised of its Canadian midstream operations and certain domestic olefins pipeline assets; Access Midstream Partners comprised of an indirect equity interest in Access GP and limited partner interests in ACMP a publicly traded master limited partnership that provides gathering, processing, treating and compression services to Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
