The Company focuses on the development of a rapid diagnostic platform, the BACcel system, intended for rapid diagnosis in life-threatening bacterial infections. The BACcel system applies its technology to eliminate bacterial culturing, thus eliminating the source of delay with testing methods. The Company�s BACcel system uses bacteriological testing principles, but applies the Company's technology to adapt them to analyze live bacteria extracted directly from a patient specimen.
