Blonder Tongue Laboratories, Inc. (Blonder Tongue) is a technology-development and manufacturing company. The Company delivers television signal encoding, transcoding, digital transport and broadband product solutions for a range of applications. Blonder Tongue’s products can be separated according to function and technology. Three key categories account for the majority of the Company’s revenue: Digital Video Headend, used by a system operator for acquisition, processing and manipulation of digital video signals; Analog Video Headend, used by a system operator for signal acquisition, processing and manipulation to create an analog channel lineup for further transmission, and Hybrid Fiber-Coax (HFC) Distribution, used to transport signals from the headend to their ultimate destination. The Company serves markets, including cable television systems, multi-dwelling units, the lodging/hospitality market and institutional systems, hospitals, prisons, and schools.
