Description
Gas Natural Inc., formerly Energy Inc., is a natural gas utility with operations in Montana, Wyoming, North Carolina and Maine. The Company operates in four business segments: natural gas operations, marketing and production operations, pipeline operations, and corporate and other. On November 2, 2009, the Company acquired 83.16% of Cut Bank Gas Company. On January 5, 2010, the Company completed the acquisition of Lightning Pipeline Company, Inc., Great Plains Natural Gas Company, Brainard Gas Corp. and Great Plains Land Development Co., LTD. In August 2011, the Company acquired Independence Oil & LP Gas, Inc.
