Entertainment Gaming Asia Inc. is engaged in the electronic gaming machine (EGM) participation operations, which include the ownership and leasing of EGMs in resorts, hotels and other venues in Pan Asia placed on a revenue sharing basis with venue owners; the development of regional casinos in the Indo-China region where it intends to own and operate such casinos under the Dreamworld brand; the design, manufacture and distribution of gaming chips and plaques; and the design, manufacture and distribution of other plastic products. The Company�s current primary focus is its EGM participation and casino development operations. The Company contracts with the venue owners or operators for the placement of EGMs on a revenue sharing basis and directly acquires and installs the EGMs and other gaming peripherals at the relevant gaming venues. As of December 31, 2011, it had an inventory of 412 EGMs suitable for deployment.
