Eaton Vance Pennsylvania Municipal Bond Fund is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from federal income tax, including alternative minimum tax (AMT), and Pennsylvania state and local taxes in the form of an investment exempt from Pennsylvania personal property taxes. The Fund invests in various sectors, including education, electric utilities, general obligations, hospital, housing, escrowed/prerefunded, transportation, industrial development, insured special tax revenue, senior living/life care, bond bank, and water and sewer industries. The Fund may invest in residual interest bonds, known as inverse floating rate securities, whereby a Fund may sell a variable or fixed rate bond for cash to a special-purpose vehicle (SPV). The Fund also invests primarily in debt securities issued by Pennsylvania municipalities. Eaton Vance Management (EVM) serves as an investment advisor for the Fund.
