ERBA Diagnostics, Inc., formerly IVAX Diagnostics, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is engaged in developing, manufacturing and marketing diagnostic test kits, reagents and instruments for use in hospitals, reference laboratories, clinical laboratories, research laboratories, doctors' offices and other commercial companies. The Company�s products and instrumentation are sold primarily to customers in the United States and Italy. These tests, which are designed to aid in the identification of the causes of illness and disease, assist physicians in selecting appropriate patient treatment. The Company is a parent company for Delta Biologicals, S.r.l. (Delta), Diamedix Corporation (Diamedix) and ImmunoVision, Inc. (ImmunoVision). In October 2012, it acquired the Clinical Diagnostics Business from Escalon Medical Corp.
