General Moly, Inc. (GMI) is a development-stage company in the business of the exploration, development and mining of properties primarily containing molybdenum. The Company�s primary asset is 80% interest in the Mt. Hope Project (Mt. Hope Project), a primary molybdenum property, located in Eureka County, Nevada. The Mt. Hope Project is developed and operated by Eureka Moly, LLC. (LLC), which is a joint venture between the Company and POS-Minerals located in Eureka County, Nevada. As of December 31, 2011, the Mt. Hope Project had contained proven and probable molybdenum reserves totaling 1.3 billion pounds of which 1.1 billion pounds are estimated to be recoverable. In addition, it owns other non-core properties and mineral rights. The Company holds Liberty Property, which is approximately 10 square mile property in Nye County, Nevada, including water rights, mineral and surface rights, buildings and certain equipment.
