Geokinetics Inc. (Geokinetics) is engaged in providing seismic data acquisition, multi-client data library and seismic data processing and interpretation services to the oil and natural gas industry. The Company provides a range of geophysical services including acquisition of two-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D) and multi-component seismic data surveys, data processing and interpretation services and other geophysical services for customers in the oil and natural gas industry, which include many national oil companies, major international oil companies and smaller independent oil and gas exploration and production companies (collectively E&P Companies) in the United States, Canada, Latin America (including Mexico), Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. It has two segments: seismic data acquisition and seismic data processing and interpretation. On February 12, 2010, the Company acquired PGS Onshore.
