The Gorman-Rupp Company (Gorman-Rupp) designs, manufactures and globally sells pumps and related equipment (pump and motor controls) for use in water, wastewater, construction, industrial, petroleum, original equipment, agriculture, fire protection, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), military and other liquid-handling applications. The Company operates in one business segment, the manufacture and international sale of pumps and related fluid control equipment and systems. Pumps that the Company produces include self priming centrifugal, magnetic drive centrifugal, axial and mixed flow, vertical turbine line shaft, submersible, high pressure booster, rotary gear, diaphragm, bellows and oscillating. Its product line consists of pump models ranging in size from 1/4 inches to 144 inches and ranging in rated capacity from less than one gallon per minute to in excess of 700,000 gallons per minute. The Company sells to more than 100 countries worldwide.
