The Goldfield Corporation (Goldfield) is engaged in electrical construction, including (the placement of fiber optic cable) and real estate development. The electrical construction operation serves electric utilities and industrial companies throughout much of the United States. The primary focus of the real estate operations has been on the development of condominium projects on the east coast of Florida. Through the Company's subsidiary, Southeast Power Corporation, the Company is engaged in the construction and maintenance of electric utility facilities for electric utilities and industrial customers, and the installation of fiber optic cable for fiber optic cable manufacturers, telecommunication companies and electric utilities. Through the Company's subsidiary Bayswater Development Corporation, the Company is engaged in the acquisition, development, management and disposition of land and improved properties.
