U.S. Geothermal Inc. is engaged in the renewable green energy business. The Company, through its subsidiary, U.S. Geothermal Inc., (Geo-Idaho) is engaged in the acquisition, development and utilization of geothermal resources in the Western Region of the United States. It owns and operates the geothermal projects: Raft River, Idaho; San Emidio, Nevada; and Neal Hot Springs, Oregon. It also has property interests in the Republic of Guatemala, and Gerlach and Granite Creek, Nevada. The Company is developing a project at the Geysers, California, a second phase project at San Emidio Nevada, as well as El Ceibillo, an advanced stage, geothermal prospect located within a 24,710 acre (100sq km) energy rights concession area located 8.5 miles (14 km) from Guatemala City, in Central America. It also holds geothermal leases covering 26,017 acres in Nevada, representing three projects that have an energy potential estimated in the range of 158 to 359 megawatts.
