Inuvo, Inc. develops software and analytics technology that is accessible over the Internet for use by online advertisers and Website publishers. Its platforms provide a mechanism for the advertisers and publishers to connect, thus facilitating the execution of marketing programs. The Company operates as two business segments: Exchange and Direct. The Exchange and Direct segments represented approximately 55.8% and approximately 44.2%, respectively, of its total net revenue for the year ended December 31, 2009. In February 2009, the Company completed the sale of Cherish. In September 2010, the Company sold its interest in Raleigh, an advertising agency. In December 2010, the Company sold its RealEstateSchoolOnline.com property.
