Mexco Energy Corporation (Mexco) is an oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of oil and gas properties located in the United States. The Company�s total estimated proved reserves at March 31, 2010, were approximately 8.406 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas and 240,000 barrels (bbls) of oil and natural gas liquids. As of March 31, 2010, natural gas constituted approximately 85% of its total proved reserves and approximately 63% of its revenues during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010). In September 2010, Mexco purchased a company, which owns royalties producing primarily natural gas. These royalties cover over 200 properties located in 60 counties and parishes in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Mississippi and Alabama.
