NovaCopper Inc. is a Canada-based exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties, including the Arctic and Bornite Projects located in Northwest Alaska in the United States. The Company, through a wholly-owned subsidiary, owns 100% of the Ambler lands in Northwest Alaska, which contains the copper-zinc-lead-gold-silver Arctic Project and other mineralized targets within a 65 kilometer long volcanogenic massive sulfide belt. The Bornite deposit is located 26 kilometers southwest of the Arctic deposit. This deposit consists of two mineralized zones; the Ruby Creek Zone and the South Reef Zone. The Company wholly-owns NovaCopper US, its subsidiary.
