Orion Energy Systems, Inc. (Orion), incorporated in April, 1996, designs, manufactures, markets and implements energy management systems consisting of energy efficient lighting systems, controls and related services and markets and implements renewable energy systems consisting of solar generating photovoltaic systems and wind turbines. The Company operates in two business segments: energy management division, which develops, manufactures and sells commercial high intensity fluorescent (HIF), lighting systems and energy management systems. and engineered systems division., which operates out of the Company�s Plymouth, WI facility and sells and integrates alternative renewable energy systems and provides technical services for sale of HIF lighting systems and energy management systems. The energy management division sold and installed HIF fixtures in over 6,800 facilities across North America, representing over one billion square feet of commercial and industrial building space.
