Description

Saga Communications, Inc. is a broadcast company primarily engaged in acquiring, developing and operating radio and television stations. As of February 29, 2012, the Company owned and/or operated five television stations and four low-power television stations serving three markets, five radio information networks and 61 frequency modulation (FM) and radio stations serving 23 markets, including Bellingham, Washington; Columbus, Ohio; Norfolk, Virginia; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Manchester, New Hampshire; Des Moines, Iowa, and Joplin, Missouri. The Company operates in two segments: Radio and Television. The Radio segment includes 23 markets, which includes all 91 of its radio stations and five radio information networks. The Television segment includes three markets and consists of five television stations and four low power television (LPTV) stations.
