Triangle Petroleum Corporation (Triangle) is an exploration and production company ,which is focused on the development of unconventional shale oil and natural gas resources in the Bakken Shale and Three Forks formations in the Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana. As of January 31, 2012, the Company owned approximately 83,000 net acres in McKenzie and Williams Counties of North Dakota and Roosevelt and Sheridan Counties of Montana. The Company�s Petroleum development operations are focused on the Bakken oil. The Company�s projects include Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana. In North Dakota, the Company has acquired approximately 36,000 net acres. In Montana, the Company has acquired approximately 50,000 net acres in Roosevelt and Sheridan counties.
