Winland Electronics, Inc. (Winland) provides a line of environmental monitoring products to the security industry. Through distribution to dealers and integrators, Winland provides a line of critical condition monitoring products to the security industry. These products are manufactured to protect against loss of assets due to damage from water, excess humidity, extremes of temperature and loss of power. These Winland branded and trademarked products accounted for 100% of the Company�s revenue as of December 31, 2011. On January 1, 2011, the Company sold its electronic manufacturing services (EMS) business segment to Nortech Systems Incorporated (Nortech). On January 1, 2011, Winland entered into a commercial building lease (the Lease) with Nortech to lease 1,000 square feet of office space at 1950 Excel Drive, Mankato. In January 2013, the Company sold its its 58,000 square foot headquarters and manufacturing building to Nortech Systems, Inc.
