Rydex ETF Trust, formerly Guggenheim S&P 500 Pure Value ETF, seeks to replicate as closely as possible the performance of the S&P 500 Pure Value Index (the Index). It uses a replication strategy to track the performance of the Index. Replication refers to investing in substantially all of the securities in the Index in approximately the same proportions as in the Index. The Index is narrow in focus, containing only those S&P 500 companies with value characteristics as selected by S&P. Its holdings include Constellation Energy GRP, Coventry Health Care Inc, Tesoro Corporation, Dean Foods Company, NRG Energy Inc, Supervalu Inc, Humana, Inc., Valero Energy Corporation, Tyson Foods, Inc. and Aetna Inc. Its investment advisor is Security Investors, LLC, which operates under the name Rydex Investments.
