Life Pharmacy Limited (LPL) is a New Zealand-based company. The Company operates the Life Pharmacy franchise and the Care Chemist franchise brands comprising 47 pharmacies within New Zealand. The Company has an ownership interest in 19 associate pharmacy companies. The Company's subsidiaries include Beauty Direct Operations Limited, Life Holdings Botany Limited and Life Pharmacy Trustee Company. On May 30, 2009, LPL acquired Care Chemist Services Limited, a small franchisee group of eight community pharmacies operating under the Care Chemist brand.
