Farmers Capital Bank Corporation is a holding company that operates through four banks and three non-bank subsidiaries. The Company’s subsidiaries include Farmers Bank & Capital Trust Company, United Bank & Trust Company, First Citizens Bank, Citizens Bank of Northern Kentucky, Inc., FCB Services, Inc., FFKT Insurance Services, Inc. and EKT Properties, Inc. The Company, through its subsidiaries, provides a range of financial services throughout Central and Northern Kentucky to individual, business, agriculture, government and educational customers. Its primary deposit products are checking, savings and term certificate accounts. Its lending products include residential mortgage, commercial lending and consumer installment loans. Other services provided by the Company include cash management services, issuing letters of credit, safe deposit box rental and funds transfer services. Other financial instruments include deposit accounts in other financial institutions and federal funds sold.
