Nuance Communications, Inc. is a provider of voice recognition solutions and natural language understanding technologies. The Company operates through four segments: Healthcare, Mobile and Consumer, Enterprise and Imaging. The Healthcare segment is a provider in clinical speech and clinical language understanding solutions. The principal solutions for the Healthcare segment include transcription solutions, Dragon Medical, clinical document improvement (CDI) and coding solutions, and diagnostic solutions. Its Mobile and Consumer segment provides a portfolio of specialized virtual assistants and connected services. The Enterprise segment is a provider for automated customer solutions and services around the world. The solutions for the Enterprise segment include OnPremise solutions and services, and OnDemand multichannel cloud. The Imaging segment provides software solutions that help professionals and organizations to gain optimal control of their document and information processes.
