Oragenics Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of a variety of products and technologies. Its Consumer Healthcare group has two product categories: Oral Probiotics that contain its ProBiora3 (Probiotics) technology (food additive) and products for weight loss that revolve around its LPT3-04 weight loss agent (food/nutritional supplement). The Company’s Antibiotics group includes Differentially Protected Orthogonal Lantionine Technology (DPOLT) lantibiotic synthesis platform (for generation of drug products) and MU 1140, mutacin (drug). Its Diagnostics division has two platforms for the identification of genetic targets that can be used in diagnostic tests, as well as in vaccines and therapeutics. The two platforms are Proteomic-based In-Vivo Induced Antigen Technology (PIVIAT) and Proteomic-based Change Mediated Antigen Technology (PCMAT).
